1. Services
Kasane Edits provides professional wedding photo editing services including, but not limited to:
• Wedding photo editing
• Colour correction
• Exposure adjustments
• Cropping and straightening
• Image culling
• Lightroom editing
• AI-assisted editing tools operated by a human editor
• Complimentary trial edits
All editing decisions remain under the control of a human editor.
2. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the client.
Prices may vary depending on:
• Number of images
• Editing complexity
• Turnaround requirements
• Additional revision requests
Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued through HNRY.
Payment is due according to the invoice terms.
International payments may incur approximately a 1.9% processing fee depending on payment provider and country.
Kasane Edits reserves the right to suspend work until payment has been received.
4. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guide only.
While every effort is made to meet agreed deadlines, turnaround times may vary due to:
• File delivery delays
• Client revisions
• Public holidays
• Technical issues
• Unexpected workload
Kasane Edits will communicate any significant delays as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide:
• Accessible image files
• Working download links
• Accurate editing instructions
• Any required Lightroom Catalogues or presets
• Prompt responses where clarification is required
Clients remain responsible for maintaining backups of all original files.
6. Image Ownership
Clients retain full copyright ownership of all submitted photographs.
Kasane Edits claims no ownership over client photographs.
Upon full payment, edited images remain the property of the client.
7. Confidentiality
Kasane Edits treats all client images and business information as confidential.
Images will never be shared publicly without the client's permission unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Portfolio Use
Kasane Edits will not display client photographs for promotional purposes without permission.
Where permission has been granted, clients may withdraw consent for future promotional use by contacting us.
9. File Retention
Completed projects are generally retained for approximately 30 days following delivery.
After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.
Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up all delivered files.
10. Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included where agreed.
Additional revisions outside the original editing brief may incur additional charges.
11. Complimentary Trial
Free trial edits are limited to one complimentary trial per business or photographer unless otherwise agreed.
Trial images remain the copyright of the client.
Photographers are free to use edited trial images in their portfolio and client galleries.
One revision is included with each complimentary trial.
Kasane Edits reserves the right to refuse future complimentary trials.
12. AI-Assisted Editing
Kasane Edits may utilise professional editing software incorporating AI-assisted features, including Evoto AI.
AI is used only as a productivity tool.
All editing decisions, image selection, quality control and final delivery are completed manually by a human editor.
Kasane Edits does not use generative AI to create, replace or fabricate client photographs.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Submit illegal content
• Submit content you do not own or have permission to edit
• Attempt to interfere with our website
• Misrepresent your identity
• Use our services for unlawful purposes
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Kasane Edits shall not be liable for:
• Loss of profits
• Business interruption
• Indirect or consequential loss
• Data loss resulting from client failure to maintain backups
• Delays caused by third-party services
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant editing service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available at all times.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, technical failures or circumstances beyond our control.
16. Third-Party Services
Our website and services may use trusted third-party providers including:
• Squarespace
• Google Analytics
• Google Ads
• Google Workspace
• Google Drive
• HNRY
Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Intellectual Property
The Kasane Edits name, branding, website content, logos and written material remain the intellectual property of Kasane Edits unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
19. Changes to These Terms
Kasane Edits may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
